[pre-xk] Succcess

Yesterday I got the '37 put all back together, after having swapped
the clutch release bearing. The first test drive was
disappointing - slight improvement but could still not shift
between gears successfully. I adjusted the release mechanism to
the point where the bearing was almost in contact with the clutch.

The drive today was much better - the car shifts properly now,
though the pedal still doesn’t feel quite right. More adjusting
needed, but the car is drivable. And the rebuilt shocks and brakes
made quite a difference!

Thanks to all for your help! The car is back on the road after
about 2 years of repairs.

I have some excellent photos which I will make available soon.–
