Pressure regulator malfunctions

Is there a case to be made for replacing the fuel pressure regulator that is not leaking, based on too high of a pressure?

As Doug says, Kim; certainly - but the regulator seldom fails in this way. Which doesn’t mean it cannot happen…

30psi on the fuel pressure. It does run better and the new plugs are not as sooty

At 30 psi and 18" Hg manifold vacuum, the engine should really run perfectly…
