Purchasing options - Go UK

I finally gave up on trying to fix/straighten the upper part of the window frame on my 67 OTS. I checked the locals and found a new one at about $600 without shipping. Trying to find a usable used frame on the internet, a vendor in the UK showed up at 295 pounds or $378, with UPS one week shipping $468. I’m not sure how much it would have cost me to have the $600 piece shipped, but the dollar seems to be extremely strong making purchases from England very attractive.

These come up pretty regularly on eBay. Not sure if this is the side you need.

This one sold a lot cheaper

I actually bought the $95 window frame. Unfortunately it was really a passenger side not a driver side window frame.

Could you cut it and replace the bad section on yours?

I tried to reweld it twice, but years of hitting the A post left it bent, so it was time to replace it.

It has been years but I got some used items from Exotic Car Parts in case you want to check with them. I think Welsh and Coventry West have some used stuff too. I do not remember now if the place that bought out John Farrell is in the US or UK but I got some hard to find used stuff from him a few years ago.
