[racing] loud clunking noise

When I accelerate from a stop I hear a loud clunking noise coming
from the engine compartment. What might be the problem?

Check to make sure your engine stabilizer is properly mounted. I
once forgot to screw the bottom plate up to the rubber bushing and
the engine made funny noises.

Also check your engine mounts, on one side of the engine my K&N
filters kept hitting the subframe.–
