anyone have the timing tools for the XJV8 engines (98-02)? I need
the dimensions of the crankshaft holding peg and the camshaft
timing block ASAP as the tools are not readily available to me in
the states and I am doing the timing tensioners and chains this
weekend! I can manufacture the tools myself with just a few of the
right dimensions. Even my dealers do NOT have these tools in their
repair shops here as Jaguar is just replacing whole engines even
AFTER the warranty period for 98’s and 99’s due to warranty issues
on the work performed! blah! help!–
