I previously had an XJ12 as well, but it has been a while. I had the radiator out a couple of times (probably like most people here) but can’t quite remember the radiator installation - certainly not from the view of an empty engine bay. Must be nice to have such access.
An empty engine bay is a double edge sward, on one hand I have been able to tackle the small amount of corrosion and treat the box sections, tidy everything up but now I’m thinking that I need to re-paint the whole engine bay… where will it ever end!!!
So the rad foams are sorted, now I have that big ugly foam between the bell housing and the transmission tunnel… does everyone else have this as well…?
