Hello Allan. You can obtain the information about when your car was
produced and how it was equipped from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage
Trust --for a fee. I’m not sure about what they can tell about its
spec[a,b,c] because I don’t know if this info is recorded. Here is the
internet address for more info: http://www.xke-lovers.com/jdhtinfo.htm.

They don’t have anything on pre-50’s though. A shame.

Hello folks,
Anyone out there have advice on how to trace the history of my
SP250?.
I’ve done the usual D.V.L.C. check and they can only tell me who the
owner was back to 1971 when the buff log book was handed in, as
this was the same chap I bought the car from I’m no farther forward.
Is it possible to find out exactly when the car was produced and in
what spec?. The car is registered with a 1930’s cherished number and
I wonder if this was the number it was first registered with?,this
may well confuse things as the D.V.L.C. don’t know either.!
Thanks,
Alan Pike.
