Hi Steve,
Welcome back.
Well in your absence, there have been many changes…
One of which, is the transfer of lumps list,
and website to a new admin. …Me…
Along with the upgrade of the lumps site,
(formerly hosted by Mike stanford),
now incorporated into the main J-L site,
http://www.jag-lovers.org/lumps
a number of new members, and a slew of photos
Check out the web for the new ( to you) look,
and addition of many new items,
http://www.jag-lovers.org/lumps/faqs_howto.htm
including a red lumped saloon,

in the photos album.
I’m sure that you will be pleased with the new site

Lumps Web Admin> Hello Cat Folks,
I have been absent off this list for almost 2 years, I previously had a XJ-S
lump with a 350 and a 200 R4, and it worked pretty well.
When I got it the 350 was already in and running badly, overheating,
electrical gremlins, I brought it back to good health
and ran it for a couple of years, and sadly had to sell it.This list was a GREAT source of help to my while I has my S’
Folks like Chip Lamb, Mark Chiampi, Kirby Palm, Andrew Weinberg, all helped
during my ownership of that car.I signed on again recently as I have had a pang in my stomach to do or find
another project lump.
Bought a Toyota Tundra in November in anticipation of said project, and also
so the Lump wouldn’t have to be my DD right off the bat.
(Note if you are looking for a full size pickup the Tundra is one hell of a
truck)Now to why I’m here…
I remember Years** ago like 1993’ seeing a Green ( Not BRG more like a sea
foam green) 420G for sale in Los Gatos California,
With the for sale sign saying a Ford 302, with a C4 was in it. I was very
intrigued, but horribly poor at the time.
Never did get to pop the hood, er bonnet- but I am very curious.
Has anyone else on lumps seen a Mark X or a 420G Lumped? --Are there any
lumped (Big) saloons on this list?
The idea of a Big cat with a V8 !!! Too Cool.I still am in the Bay Area and would be interested if anyone has seen this
cat or another like it.So this gets me to some questions, like I wonder if the Ford was easier from
the sumps location?Let me know what you think, thanks in advance.
