Easy!
Keys are not needed.

With door open, flip the inside lock lever,
Lift the door handle, and hold it up, while closing the door.
Voila! locked door!

I’ve gotten into the habit of using the key to lock mine,
so that I can’t, lock the keys in…

Gee! I blithely thought that that problem was addressed after the
universal Cortina keys in the early sixties. Maybe Mr Bean’s padlock
idea is not all that way out…? :slight_smile:
