I did not like the large centre bumper piece on the rear of my series 2 (or 3 XKE) so I used two front bumper overriders from a series one (which fit snug on series 2 outer bumpers and are blank on the inner faces). I fabricated a stainless centre piece about 1 1/4" deep and fastened that between the bumperettes, it makes the car appear less heavy.
Also, not using the backup lights that Jag supplied, but incorporating backup lights into the taillight lenses makes the rear of the car look a bit neater. ?

Very cleanly done…makes it hard I picture what the original bumper looked like, which is usually the sign of a well-executed modification.
Weren’t the integrated reversing light OEM on some models that used those taillights …maybe a Lotus, or was it non-US model E-types?
