Hi,

I’m not sure what’s high and what’s low as locally we talk about ”long” ratios (2.88, 2.97) and ”short” ratios (3.54, 4.27) but I agree that using the fractions is always most accurate.

47/11 = 4.27
46/13 = 3.54
43/13 = 3.31
43/14 = 3.07
46/16 = 2.88

Thks for your thoughtful response I was really just joking but I bet they would last a lot longer than they let on with the modern machining practice
