I have noticed it is very fiddly refitting the bulb assembly back into the rear lamp cluster moulding, and also that the old one seems to have partially enlarged holes (melted with a soldering iron?). Is that normal?
No that is not normal, sounds like the previous owner had trouble finding the right bulb, and just enlarged the holes.
Thanks for reply. However, I had great difficulty fitting in my bulb assembly. OK in the end but not something I would like to do by the roadside. Perhaps my bulb module has its fitting slightly askew.
