Genuine 65 FHC engine and gearbox, confirmed from same car by the late Mike Cook. New shells, chains, springs, guides, valves, tensioners etc. Still on standard bores & journals (honed & polished respectively). Fitted later S3 XJ wide rods and 8.75:1 solid skirt pistons.
Full set of ancillaries: water pump, starter, alternator, manifold, oil filter, distributor ready timed. Fresh faced flywheel & NOS clutch and hydraulics, slave. Engine stabilizer & mount brackets plus new trans mount. Good gearbox checked over, new seals but not rebuilt.
Basically a rare valuable matching full powertrain ready to plug and play into your classic Jag. All this for the price of an ordinary rebuild
