BONJOUR ,le véhicule est déjà 4 jours chez jaguar ET ils ne trouve pas le défaut
Malgré la manette au volant off les lumières reste allumée (donc obliger d’enlever chaque fois la cosse de batterie!!
Il y a t il quelqu’un qui aurait eu le même problème??

Despite the joystick on the steering wheel off, the lights remain on (so you have to remove the battery terminal each time !!

Could t be a relay? If it failed in the closed position, the lights would stay on.

non il ne s’agit pas d’un relais ,ET après avoir déconnecter des connecteurs dessous du tableau de bord tout reste toujours allumées!! ils pense a un fil a la masse ? ETC…
la mannette de commande phares (au volant) est aussi HS pour afficher les fonctions “TRIP”
ET la aussi ils ont déconnecter celle-ci ,mais sans résultat !!

Roger, qu’elles lumières restent allumées? Intérieur, feux de positions, codes?? Ça fait une quinzaine d années que j ai vendu ma XKR qui était un modèle de l année 2000…
Pas familier avec la génération suivante.
1)- essayer de retirer le fusible du circuit qui reste allumé.
2)- généralement il y a un relai et un timer (minuterie) qui laisse les lumières intérieures allumés pour quelques secondes. Cette minuterie est peut être défaillante. Idem pour les phares et deus de déposition.

S’agit-ils peut-etre d’une faute dans le systeme d’allumage automatique des phares? Je crois qu’il y a (en bref) une espece de sensor solar, qui prevent l’allumage quand le soleille brille. Si oui, et le sensor ou son fil et casse, voila - pas d’inhibition et puis des phares qui restent toujours allume pendant selection ‘auto’
Pascal a raison avec son suggestion de demonter les fusibles relevantes l’un apres l’autre, mais surement le dealer a deja essaye ca auparavant? Il faut en trouver un autre specialiste avec les infos justes.
Je n’ai pas vue ce detail. Ca me semble qu’il faut essayer encore une mannette si c’est deja hors de service pour ca qui concerne ses autre fonctions.

Ja, aber es ist nicht sehr nett, sich darauf zu verlassen. Es sind nur wenige hier, die französisch sprechen und der Aufwand, den Text zu übersetzen, ist wirklich nicht hoch. Vor allem, wenn man jemanden antwortet, der auf Englisch geschrieben hat. Und für “die Anderen”, wie Grahame sagt.
Richtig, David, aber diese Tagen kann man sehr einfach ein Antwort ubersetzen fals man die Antwort verstehen will. Wenn nicht, keine Problem.
There’s a Flemish saying my dad used to aim at me quite often: “Van de kant in de gracht”. Basically it refers to someone in a ditch or canal (I guess it may be a Dutch saying, not Flemish?).
The person in the ditch asks a passer-by for a hand climbing out, at which point the circumspect passer-by replies (roughly translated) “Why, so you can pull me from the bank into the canal?”
It’s not quite as rude as “I’m alright, Jack!” But my dad used it to prompt me to sort an issue out for myself instead of getting him involved.
The ‘info’ supplied was pure speculation and not worth translating beyond what anyone could cut and paste into a translation app.

It’s about the question in the first place, I find it a bit arrogant if you make helpers walk into the shrubbery on the dark end of the pond instead of doing your part and swim towards them 
As you said, translating is easy and it only helps Roger with his problem because someone who potentially knows the answer will be more likely to read it when it’s in English. After all, he needs help, and his English is actually pretty good! Thank you.
