Re the markers above the side light housing on each of the front wings. I will not re-enter the discussion of which way around is correct - but I would like to reverse the ones on my 1960 Mk2. How in the World do I get them off in order to reverse them - and then put them back on?
As always, any help is greatly appreciated.
(If it’s too complex, I will leave them the way they are and expect the discussion to continue).

Hi Dr.J. it depends. Th originals had a fore and aft groove on each side of the peg that goes through the metal above the side lights, and then a long u-shaped clip was fed into the groove from the opening (light removed) securing the telltale in place. I have also seen them siliconed in place.

A good tip , when I replaced mine , I tied a length of sea fishing wire around the end of the clip , so if I have to remove it again , I can just tug on the fishing wire
