Retro radio from Jaguar land Rover

This is pretty cool. See the photo of it in a Ser 1 E Type - though technically it’s not listed for E’s.

For almost $2000 it better be “cool”

Seems to be higher than the original format. That may just be the bezel.

I have a couple of old radios which I am thinking of gutting and turning into a “stealth carputer”.

It doesn’t look very “retro” to me.

Hi,

Nope, does not look retro to me either.

Retrosound has enough options to make it look retro in a lot of cars.
I have installed one and the client was happy with it in his Ser.2 2+2.

But personally I would never want anything like that. I have the 1972 Blaupunkt Frankfurt mono radio in the 1972 OTS and I have (now) a 1975 Audiovox Quadraphonic (Surround Stereo) 8 track player & radio with four Blaupunkt speakers in the 1975 XJ6C and to me those cars and the sound present time travel in it’s most pleasant and convenient form,

Cheers!

Looks a lot like a Becker Mexico. Perfect for a Mercedes. Not so much for a Jaguar.Mexico

Not that it would keep me using one…I agree. Looks fairly modern.
