Anyone fixed reverse sensors on an x308 ? Have two Daimler’s super V8 both have same problem make a noise when put in reverse but nothing after I also have a xj8 sport that work fine
Unfortunately the X308 and X100 reverse parking aid system in not on a network so the module does not store DTCs.
You are going to have to diagnose the old fashioned way.

Roy you don’t say what year they, assuming they are 2003 the circuit is Fig. 19.1 in the Electrical Guide which along with other years is available in www.jagrepair.com.
There is a module which controls all of them I’d check for switched 12v from the reversing light is present when in reverse from the reversing lights and the common return from the sensors are present.
The Daimler’s are 1998 years my sport is 2001 I should think it knows reverse is selected as make bleep but nothing after could one sensor in bumper shut down the system ?
ANY fault in the system shuts down the parking aid and you get the ERROR TONE.
