Would any one know where I might obtain a RHD clutch pedal for a 1958 (early) FHC xk150?
try coventry auto components
Is this what you mean?
Does anyone have measurements?
I have some orphan pedals.
Rob:
The clutch pedal out of my 120 (replaced by the Bill Bassett trick option) measures 10 1/4" from the end that fits in the arm to the upright your foot pushes (that bit being 5" sans rubber pad).
Chris.
Thanks Phil, but my bank refused me a second mortgage!
No Rob I’m chasing the actual cranked pedal shaft - but thanks anyway.
Terry McGrath has given me an idea, apparently it’s possible to heat and bend the existing shaft, I have been in touch with a local blacksmith/farrier who has a furnace, and he has agreed to look at it, so keeping fingers crossed!
Then you mean the C.14173 clutch pedal arm.
I don’t have that one.
How about a picture? A good body man or an iron worker with an oxy/acetylene torch should be able to heat it up and bend it to the right shape.
Hmmm. They can be a bit like that.
With best regards
