[s-type] 2000 3.0 S-Type Stalls at IDLE

Looking for a little help My 2000 3.0 S-Type stalls at Idle. I was
recently receiving an OBD II message that both banks was running
lean. I was informed it was a rubber elbow in the Intake that was
cassing it. That was replaced and then I received a OBD II message
that one of the oxygen sensor was bad replaced the two front
sensors then the car started to stall at idle and when I stop at
stope lites. Has anyone come accross this and what was the fix.
Thanks.–

In reply to a message from Captain D sent Thu 27 Dec 2007:

I am getting the same problems but told to replace the spark plugs
and coils by independant garage. However I am not suffering any
power loss and car runs fine but at idle in the traffic or
stationary it just cuts out. What’s the solution?–

Out of curiosity I am wondering if you were able to solve your problem for the 2000 “S”. I had the throttle body cleaned and for the summer season last year there was no issues and then in the spring the problem returned. The mechanic cleaned and did a smoke test and again for a month no issues but the problem came back… It stalls at traffic lights and stops. When working smoothly it idles just below one. When I note the issue coming it drops to about .2/3 and then just drops completely. Fuel filter was replaced March 2018. I am not aware it is running a code. It has just under 200,000 Kms on it. Previous owner did not run in winter and previous owner did not tell me until I asked that it stalls. My thoughts are to replace the throttle body (it has been what has been suggested to me. These are no longer made per Jaguar so thinking of a used one, it would be a XR831725.

Check it for codes anyway.
I always carry a code reader with me, handy and cheap diagnostics.
One thing that took awhile to find was after I changed the EGR valve and it still generated an emissions fault code, I found I had to clean out the exhaust crud buildup inside the intake manifold around the valve port.
