First check the fuses and relays.
Under the bonnet:
fuse #5 is fuel injection #12 is coil on plugs #18 is powertrain control module
relays #3 and 14 are powertrain control modules
In the passenger compartment:
fuse #4 is powertrain control module fuel pump relay fuse
In the luggage compartment:
Relay #6 is fuel pump
Also look in the luggage compartment right rear corner for a
loose wire dangling down and touching the body. This is left
over from the transit relay which should have been removed
by the first dealer.–

You’re sure about relay #14 in the front box? Actually
passing current between terminals 30 and 87, not just
clicking? You can pull this relay, put a jumper wire across
terminals 30 and 87 in the box and see if it starts.–

Please note jaguar S-TYPE cranking just fine BUT won’t start after oil change if it is overfilled. You must suck motor oil back out using hand pump/ spray bottle with long thin straw.
