[s-type] drill new expansion tank to add water level sensor?

Hello,

I received the new expansion for a 2000 4.0v8 s-type today. Does
anyone happen to know why the Jaguar decided to eliminate the
provision for the water level sensor?

I am thinking of drilling the new tank so I can put back this
sensor. Bad idea? Thanks!–
