The electric trunk latch has stopped working and will not
keep the trunk closed. I have a 2005 S Type 3.0. Any
information would be greatly appreciated.–

First be sure you don’t have some object in the glove box
pushing on the valet trunk button in there.–

Yup … cost me just over $100.00 [Can] a few years ago at our local shop to find out that very switch had been hit by a pair of gloves my wife had but into the glove compartment a few days prior. Lesson for me … read the damn manual
