[s-type] Not having much luck! S-type Indicator

Since my last post someone has removed the left hand side indicator
Repeater Failed’ appears on the computer screen.

Is it possible to get a garage to fit a new one and then the
computer message will disappear or does it need taking to a Jaguar
main dealer to reset the computer so the failure message no longer
comes on?

Unfortunately I have recently moved house and can no longer garage
the car. In Seafrost it does stand out like a beacon and seems to
attract vandals, I’m also in the market for a new Jaguar badge!

Many thanks for the reply, on the same subject does anyone know if
replacing the indicator is just a case of pushing a new one in or
whether the car’s battery will have to be disconnected and the new
indicator will have to be newly wired in. At the moment there is
merely a hole in the front wing. Not sure which actual part to
order, whether a whole new unit is required or not.
