[s-type] Plug Coils, 4.0

I recently had a misfire, cylinder 5. Fixed it with a new plug
coil for $85. Recently saw a set of 8 on Ebay for $85! Does
anyone have any experience with these ebay sellers and is it worth
it? Would like to change out all of them if the $85 8 pack works.–

My local auto parts store sells them for $45 each, the set for $85 sounds
too good to be true, and you know what they say if it sounds too good to be
true it usually is :slight_smile:

I thought I could save some funds by buying from a well
known auction site.
The company were based in Ireland!, I changed all 8.
One failed imediatly, and two more failed within about 2 months.
If I had to replace mine again I would by genuine, its not
worth the hassle

That $85 was for ONE!

Hi All,
Rockauto has them for as cheap as $11 to or $28 for Delphi or $32for Denso. Motorcraft are $46, look under Lincoln LS. I would spend the money for a Delphi or Denso part verse a cheap $11 part.
