[s-type] radio reception problembs help required

The radio part of my sound system (jan2000 3.0 se)is acting as if
it has little or zero effective aerial ie only one or two stations
available,cd and cass all work perfectly. Rear screen connection
and antennae appear ok.
Can anyone advise on how to access aerial connection or how to
remove radio to do this so I can try plugging in an alternative
aerial in an attempt to prove fault on or off the radio itself or
the aerial system?
Or if anyone has cleared the same fault I would appreciate advice.
Thanks Rob. London UK.–

My June 4.0 S-type had an antennae problem with the AM stations here
in the USA. 510-1500khz. (FM was fine)

After several years of complaining, I read on this list there was a
TSB addressing the issue.

The next time I visited the dealer, they ‘did something’ and the
reception improved dramatically.

I wish I knew more about the TSB and the fix, but I don’t. Perhaps
someone else knows.
