to be coming from the pssenger side the dealership have changed the
seal on passenger door and tell me that the rear door seal is ok.

If your tyres were P-ZERO Pirelli they are very noisy, P 6000 are
quieter. Why not have a passenger kneel on the floor and listen
closely around the door to find where the noise is coming from?
examine the seal it should be marked where it contacts the door
apeture. Or smear the seal with grease and see if it leaves an even
mark when the door is shut. Any gaps means it is not touching
properly.–

My original equipment Continentals were very noisy. Have Z rated Michelins
now and there is no more noise. I also had noise problems with the P-zeros
on my earlier XJR.

I changed to Bridgestone Potenza SO3 from P-zeros. Having
complained about road noise to my dealer (after having a 2001 BMW
M5), I was told not to expect BMW-like refinement. Duh…

Anyway, now that I have given up expecting BMW-like refinement,
things like the road-noise and rattles are not that noticeable
anymore, nor is the clunk from the ABS system that remains
undiagnosed.

Jaguar’s biggest problem is not the quality of the cars that they
build. No. It’s got to do with the quality of the people they throw
into their workshops to service the cars after you buy them.

I am bitterly disappointed so far.–
