I hate to say this but if you drive for 2 months witht he check engine light
on, well… you’re asking for trouble!
the check engine light can come on for something as simple as a loose gas
cap to a major problem brewing. a loose cap wont’ make the engine stall of
course.
the dealer shoudl be able to read codes from the computer to see if there
are any other problems, it could be a one time glitch somewhere, I wouldn’t
worry about it too much.

2000s 3.0 suddenly stopped on busy freeway. After 3 to 4 minutes I
was able to get it started. Taken in to Jaguar. Yellow warning
light has been on since I purchased the car two months ago. Dealer
claims this is due to loose gas cap which it does not appear to
be.Has anyone else experienced this sudden stopping. If I can’t
