S2 clutch master cylinder threads

Would someone be able to tell me what the thread is on an S2 clutch master cylinder? The one I’m interested in is the one on pressure line to the clutch slave NOT the one on the line from the reservoir.

Thanks,

It’s probably 3/8 UNF. So 3/8, 24tpi.

See if a 3/8 UNF bolt will thread into it.

Beware if buying a replacement that M10 1.0mm is very similar. They are around 0.4mm fatter and 25tpi so can be hard to tell apart by eye. A 3/8 fitting is around 9.37mm in diameter across the threads. An M10 is around 9.7mm.

I believe Canada like Australia is a metric-ish country so you might accidentally get either.

Thanks. You were indeed correct. It is a 3/8 x24 thread. Canada isn’t just “metric-ish”. It’s fully metric unless you’re over the age of about 50 in which case you’re bilingual, metric and English.
