So the turn signal stalk isn’t firmly anchored in its base. It slides in and out just a bit and as a result is quite “floppy”
Can I just bond the stalk back into the base or is there some reason it should be removable?
thats a very common problem. I think they were originally press fit and crimped with a dimple style machine. Its hard to get a good re-crimp. so you can use JB weld or epoxy to try and secure it. but dont pull it out or off, the horn button wire runs down the inside of the stalk
Thanks, Bob! That’s what I was thinking (jb weld) but didnt know if it was removable for some reason. I’ll fix it today will our “Bomb Cyclone” moves in here in San Francisco
