This is the point of having ‘reasonably’ working gauge, Tony - an early warning…:slight_smile:

There is no urgent reason for changing the thermostat, but with a well working cooling system; raising engine temps with a hotter thermostat is not without merit…

Use FAIL SAFE thermostat in the system to avoid over heating.
