I need to replace my S3 carpet set but cant find; through any research, which is the favoured or most original material. All seem to offer Polypropylene or 80/20 Wool.
What are peoples experience or recommendations for which material?
It depends on how authentic you want to be. The S3 Concours Judges’ Guide says, “Flocked nylon - sewn in vinyl inserts on driver and passenger’s side and driver’s side tunnel - cut pile. Wilton Wool is WRONG.” The Guide goes on with a photo showing two trim options. It’s worth a check. The Guide can be downloaded from the JCNA website.
