The breathers in these cars simply went down the left side of the
engine and vented to atmosphere,this sort of set up lasted until,I
think,1964 and its outlawing was one of the first auto emissions
laws to come into effect and was instigated by California.
The hose is a kind of corrugated affair that is basically cardboard
wrapped in an aluminium foil.XK’s unlimited have good
representations of the original .–
