[Saloon-lovers] Extra vacuum line on 3.8 manifold?

On my 57’ mk1 that has a 3.8 engine (from a 150) the manifold has
an fitting that is not being used. The opening for the brake
booster is on the back/top of the manifold. The opening for the
warm up carb is correct, but right beside the carb opening (on the
bottom side of the manifold), there is an extra opening. Currently
its plugged up. Can anyone tell me what this should be used for?
Thanks,
