my running out of gas under load problem ('62 Mk2) turned
out to be a tight bend in the rubber fuel hose that
transitions between the hard plastic fuel line and the
filter bowl on the rt inside fender wall. Simplifying the
hose routing solved the problem.
Now I’ve lost my headlights. Could it have anything to do
with hooking up the license plate like on the trunk lid?
The car went on its first freeway run. 70 mph and all well.
Engine temp 160 on a cool day.
