[Saloon-lovers] Fwd: Daimler 4.5 litre V8

Hi all,

I found this in my business mailbox (he must really be desperate!);
can anyone please help Ray, as I haven’t got the foggiest? I’ll FWD
any and all replies with your names etc.>Gentlemen,

I am trying to get some details on various facets of the 4.5 litre
(please, NOT 2.5 litre!) Daimler V8.

In particular, I would like to know about the valve layout and
operation, and the cross section of the cylinder head.

I cannot find anything by googling on the net.

Do you have any drawings you might be able to e.mail me?

There is a book I have that has Road Tests for Daimler SP250 and V8
saloons similar to those available for other marques and models.
These are articles from various publications around the world
articles.

In this particular book, there is a good comparison between the two
Daimler V8s including pictures, specifications and drawings.

I am at work at the moment so don’t have the details with me but
would be happy to pass on.–
