Alan,
As I remember Owen Sound from many Boy Scout winter camps,
spring has already come! The fact that you knew which way to dig
to get to the 420 AND the fact that you yourself use the term ‘snow
flurry’ means only one of two things, late fall, or early spring.
btw… Do you know what the Australians say ‘kiwi’ stands for?

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Since I only moved up here just before Christmas, I’ve yet to experience
most of the seasons. I can confirm that the level of snow piled up next to
the driveway has diminished considerably in the last couple of weeks.

Where were you living when you attended these Owen Sound camps?

OK, I’ll bite … what do the Australians say ‘kiwi’ stands for?On Tue, 16 Mar 2004 at 07:03:57 +0100, “Andrew Waugh” andrew.waugh@bluewin.ch wrote:

Alan,
If I were 20 years younger I might be able to remember the
place we used to camp, it was in a forest (dooh!) on someone’s farm.

KIWI, say the Australians, stands for ''Keenly Interested

Without Intelligence’'.

DISCLAIMER: I am not, nor have I ever been (in this, or a previous
life) an Australian, though I do have a fondness for beer and
BBQs. I have heard many good things about New Zealanders, most
especially that they have an excellent attitude towards life.
(Not that I think the disclaimer will help prevent me now being
attacked by some crazed Kiwi…)

Sounds like Camp Charlbro, which I drove by this morning. Unfortunately not
in my Jaguar.At 06:49:41 3/17/2004 +0100, “Andrew Waugh” andrew.waugh@bluewin.ch wrote:
