Hi Paul,
could you enlarge on this mod using the XJ6 filter? The parts no, of the
filter seems to be C.29445, but from the XJ parts list it looks like this
filter is pressed upwards by the drain cover (3193). Details on pick-up
pipe diameter and its vertical position would help a lot.

The XJ-6 use a more modern, slip on plastic mesh filter, of a higher
filtration rate, that simply slips on the pickup tube, kind of like a paint
spray gun filter.
