If you really get stuck for the sending units… I have a spare left
and right fuel tank senders, arms and floats. They’re the only ones I
have and I bought them last year (used NOS0 “just in case” I ever
needed to replace/repair mine.

But, If that’s all that’s keeping you off the road then drop me a line
direct.

I have never seen a good substitute. Jaguar’s rear wing mounted fuel tanks
are not at all a common design today, probably due at least in part to
concerns about protection of the fuel tank in an accident. Most fuel level
senders are vertical mounts rather than side mounts.
