[Saloon-lovers] Re: wheels

Kelly:

Please search the Archives as this topic has been covered several times.
But to make a long story short, yes, I have used American 15" wheels as well
as 15" XJ6 wheels on my (former) Mk10.

Dave Q.

From Kelly Bumgarner:
Will later model Jag (i.e. XJ series) fit the Mark 10?<

Dave:

E-type wheels are identical, as are S-type and 420. Can also use the
wider V12 E-Type wires. So, just check out various websites.

…and a followup question: if I was to retrofit a later
model wire wheel to a '62 Mk2, what would fit in terms of
size and splines? Thx again, David

so…not Jaguar related at all…but what OS and browser
are you using to give the interesting board display?

And all the A’s with the mark above, just odd. I checked,
nothing here is blocking so I don’t know.–

Hey TOC:

The OS is standard Windows 8.1 . But the e-mail program is WebMail 6 - something that is provided by our internet service provider. It does throw some strange characters at the end of lines.

Because of this, I try to use my phone instead (like now). Not always convenient though.

Jag content. The early Mk2 wire wheels fit the same as the late wire wheels. Only the wheel hubs look different. Common knowledge, but there you go.

Just installed Dayton 15x6 wheels on my Mk1 and they appear
