Dear all, I am offered a complete set of S type tinted windows (4
doors + front and back screens). I do not have access to them, so I
cannot mesure these windows. Would somebody know if such a set
would fit partly or completely on a MK II?

When I acquired the bits for my S type, there were some extra windows which
allegedly came from a MKII. Neither the front nor the rear were anything like
the shape of the S type, however it is certainly possible that the front I
had did not actually come from a MKII.

The front glass is identical for a MK2/Daimler V8/S Type and 420. The rear
glass is entirely different between the MK2/V8 and the S/420. The rear door
glass is the same between the MK2 and the S/420, but I believe that the front
door glass is
different. Probably the glass itself is the same, the only difference being
the steel
channel on the bottom of the glass. Haven’t compared the two to see what the
difference is, but the parts books give different numbers.
The four wing window glasses are the same between all the cars, though.
