[Saloon-lovers] Seat Belts from Andover

To Allen and others with regard to the Andover seat belts. I just this
week finished the install of their retractable sets on my 63 MX X and I am
impressed. I have exact part numbers and advice to give. i.e. you must
purchase the longer buckle assembly or you’ll never be able to make a
connection. The floor mounted reel assembly can be manipulated in several
ways to fit snugly and the retraction is very smooth. Driving without
seatbelts even if legal is not wise. You will launch your a-- straight
through all that old glass and look like a chain saw hit you in a hurry!

If you will recall I checked out a MX X in Montrose Colorado last year and
it is again on Ebay. It is the Perry Como red one and it is solid enough and
needing some work but definetly a runner; have a look. I could meet you up
there for some moral support and directions as that area is just beautiful.

Regards,

If you end up buying it, you perhaps could get the owner’s wife to do a dental
check while you are there. She is a great dentist - took wonderful care of my
my wife and me during the 13 years we lived in Silverton CO.

Cheers!
