[Saloon-lovers] Tire size on S-type

I have old tires on my 1966 S-type and found a shop that can
replace them. Problem is, they appear to be 185 SR 15
sized, and my guy says those are harder to get than 165s.
He can order them, but would a 165 be an adequate
replacement for this model?

Great value for money and performances. Readly available even on

Larry-
185-15 is available and,IMHO, a much better choice than 165-15. Some other sizes will fit but I think the 185-15 is just right for the car. Be careful of sizes that may be problematic for fitting rear wheels.
