[Saloon-lovers] Window channel seal

Greetings All-
Am replacing all 4 quarterlights after re-chroming of frames on my
1965 Mk2. What, if anything, is used in the window frame U-channel
along with the glass?
Have tried a couple of sealants and it is not coming together right.
Any suggestions?

Hi Chucj, Go to a glass shop tke a frame and glass with you they
have the packing strip you will need.–Fwiw–GNB–
