NOT true actually, at the risk of prolonging this discussion I must point out that I do use the auxiliary fan prophylactically. It comes on with the AC regardless of temp (as they all do or should) and also a variable timer runs the auxiliary fan for a short time when the ignition is initially turned off (beats dropping valve seats). This timer can be seasonally adjusted if needed and it mightn’t bet used at all in the colder parts year. I would like to add the auxiliary fan has an overriding switch in the cabin in case of engine fire. Busy little fan…
