Series 2 bonnet (hood) width

I’m still without my car so asking if someone, when they have a minute, could kindly measure a series 2 bonnet at the widest part, ie at the windscreen.

Mine is an S2 and I just measured it as 55-7/8 (55.875) inches but they should all be the same regardless of S1, S2 or S3. Note: that’s the measurement of the bonnet/hood - corner to corner- NOT the size of the bonnet opening between the wings/fenders.
