Shimmy shimmy Shake

well we are doing the Diff bearings. the internal Shims are not available so we had to use the old but one had a millimeter or so worn off it. the outer shim on that side is already at 7.5 but there is still a bit of lateral movement. can we go up to a 8.0 shim (two 4mm) will all this affect the camber? or other solutions or ideas?

Internal shim wont alter the camber looking at the exploded view on the SNG Barrett web site. The camber is adjusted by shims between the output shaft and the half shaft. Sounds like you may have to have some shims made, any good engineering shop would be able to manufacture one.
