On my 1997 XJ6 (50K Miles) I had a hole in the front catalytic converter assembly and had it replaced with an aftermarket part with the slip joint type. Unfortunately, 2 separate shops have tried to fit them properly into the exhaust manifold at the engine but they are still LEAKING badly!
Since I love this car and want to keep it, should I order the Davico units with the welded joints?
