I found this old add for customizing an exhaust. It would be way more cool for the money that having the manifolds coated! Wonder who seeks them now!

And we could take those old baseball cards and put them in the wire wheel spokes.

I imagine you could still find a way to mount playing cards to your brake calipers to rub the spikes.

Put those on an E-type and I suspect they would last about a day before the unburned hydrocarbons spewing from the tail pipes turned them to goo.
They remind me of the plastic streamers people used to put on their handle bar grips on bicycles.
