For my 02 X Type, I would like to get a back-up key to have in my key case. Does anyone know if a blade only is available? I have two pods. but having one of them on my key case would be too bulky.
Talk to your locksmith. I have the 2006 and my key is a cylindrical shaft and I got a copy made, but I had to go to the next biggest city nearby to find a professional enough locksmith that had the blanks and the machine to cut them. $140, without the remote. If you have an older flat blade key it should be cheaper.
