Spare Parts Book

Is this “THE” parts book that’s been mentioned so often on this site, and is this the going price?
Thank you
Carlo

No Carlo, this is THE parts book you need to get: http://www.xkebooks.com/

Unlike the official Jaguar manual it has many accompanying illustrations which are hugely useful.

Thanks for that, David.
That’s a lot of money, but I’m sure you get what you pay for.
I’ll try for a used one, and if no luck, I’ll look into that book.
Carlo

An alternative is to use the SNGB web site as they have excellent diagrams of the S2 sub-assemblies. I think they have bought the rights to the XKE book’s drawings. You could print the diagrams and insert them into the official Jaguar SPC I suppose?

David

or get their catalog

Carlo;
I second David’s suggestion of the ‘Illustrated Manual’. As I understand it Jaguar did not print or supply such a book for the S2 as it did for the earlier models.
The money spent for the book now will be long forgotten as you complete the tasks your car needs. I also use the ‘Bentley Book’ which I bought used.

Good luck, Joel.

The Jaguar parts catalogue is also available from JCNA and you save about $12 if you are a JCNA member.

I have the book Heuer recommended. Worth the money - got me through a challenging restoration!

Since my car came in boxes, i spent several evenings leafing through the book to identify unknown parts.
